Mortality Matters: Exploring Life, Death, and Meaning
Research shows that talking about death actually reduces stress, depression, and anxiety while improving life satisfaction. Normalizing uncomfortable or taboo topics such as dying and death helps to bring our fears into the light where they are more easily acknowledged and resolved.
Talking about death can help us clarify and articulate our values and goals for how we die, but also for how we live! Engaging with our finitude encourages a focus on what matters most.
